BCCI names Tamannaah Bhatia as among the performers of the Opening Ceremony of IPL 2023. Read to know about the dates, time, and more

In its original format, the IPL will return to India in 2023. The 16th season of the Indian Premier League will be conducted using the traditional home-and-away schedule, with each side playing 7 home games and 7 away. India will host the competition for the first time since 2019. Not to mention that the league will begin with a magnificent opening ceremony, including performances by a number of Bollywood and pan-Indian superstars. On March 29, the BCCI officially announced Tamanna Bhatia as one of the opening ceremony performers. During the first game between Gujarat Titans and Chennai Super Kings on March 31 at the IPL 2023 Opening Ceremony, Bollywood stars Katrina Kaif and Tiger Shroff are allegedly also going to perform.

Needless to mention, there may be a laser display at Ahmedabad’s Narendra Modi stadium. The opening game will be a thrilling contest between the reigning champion GT and the four-time champion CSK. The game will begin at 7:30 IST. Hardik Pandya’s GT will be performing in front of their local audience for the first time. GT will be under more stress this year as they defend their championship.
